What does it take for a state to help residents live to be 100 years old?
This is a question the Maryland Department of Aging is eagerly asking Maryland residents as it creates its multi-sector plan for aging, a crucial initiative called Longevity Ready Maryland.

Hint: It takes a lot more than good healthcare!

Your participation is crucial. Please join Age-Friendly Montgomery in a virtual conversation on March 28 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. You will learn about Longevity Ready Maryland’s “Epic Goals” and can share your ideas for what a plan for enabling Marylanders to age well needs to include.

The draft plan will be available for review on March 17: LRM.Maryland.Gov

Together, we can all thrive and lead fulfilling lives.
