3rd Annual Alzheimer’s Awareness: Navigating the Journey Summit

This year’s theme is “Supporting Families and Caregivers: 2030 Road Map and Beyond.” (Flyer attached).

We’re proud to welcome Marita Golden as our guest moderator. A celebrated author and Alzheimer’s advocate, Marita received the NAACP Image Award for her powerful novel The Wide Circumference of Love, which explores the impact of Alzheimer’s on Black families. Her voice brings empathy, cultural relevance, and urgency to the conversation.

There won’t be traditional resource tables—for this summit. Instead, we’re encouraging an interactive format where participants rotate among attendee tables to foster dialogue and outreach.
